Up until recently, adventure photos only reached audiences weeks, months, and even years after the explorer was home and away on another expedition. Today, these intrepid creatives are able to share their far-flung travels in real time thanks to the latest technology. Leading the charge in social media-fuelled outdoor videography is Salt Lake City-based Renan Ozturk. Loaded up with HD cameras, drones and climbing equipment, Ozturk takes to the outdoors with his girlfriend Taylor and their trusty pooch Baloo to create stunning videos that capture the grandeur of nature. On this expedition, Ozturk made use of the lightweight and wholly capable Lenovo Yoga 3 2-in-1 PC tablet to share his work from the trail.

These days I have to use every spare hour of free time if I want to get personally creative between shoots and expeditions. Like during the drive home from the desert last week, where I managed to process timelapse from raw stills and edit this little video in the passenger seat of our truck using a small @intel powered 2-in-1 laptop. I have been practicing the art of making tiny adventures count and sharing those stories even if I only get brief days together with @taylorfreesolo and the spry little dog child @baloointhewild. Being able to run 4 programs for video and time-lapse processing on a razor thin device while in transit is huge. More time for dusty desert scampering, less time slaving in the edit cave of pain. #weekendwarriors #pupscapades #createbetweenthelines
