Brews, Bikes, and Movies: CLIPS Beer and Film Tour returns to Chicago

This feature was produced in collaboration between Vox Creative and New Belgium Brewery. Vox Media editorial staff was not involved in the creation or production of this content.

New Belgium Brewing's annual Clips Beer and Film Tour is coming back to Chicago on June 5th at Eckhart Park from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Showtime begins after sundown. Clips offers a one-of-a-kind venue where guests can try New Belgium's most esoteric and rare beer offerings, paired with short films created by fans.

Many of New Belgium's Lips of Faith beer offerings can be hard to come by in Chicago. Clips is the best way to taste up to 17 varieties from the Lips of Faith lineup to brewery classics. For a complete list of beers available at the Chicago stop, click here. There's plenty of fun to be had alongside a host of traveling tricks and contests. Food from a variety of local vendors will also be available. Check out the Libations/Eats page beforehand to peruse your options.

This beer-toting, nonprofit-benefiting film tour is hitting 20 cities across the U.S. in its 6th year. The best part: 100 percent of the proceeds from beer sales benefit local nonprofits working to improve our communities. The nonprofit partners in Chicago are Recyclery Collective, an educational bike shop that promotes sustainability, and the Alliance for the Great Lakes - an organization devoted to protecting and restoring the Great Lakes, the world's largest surface freshwater resource. Since its inception in 2010, Clips has raised close to $370,000 for a wide range of nonprofits all over the U.S.

"Clips is a great place to come together with friends and relax," said Christie Catania, Clips National Special Events Manager. "It is an outdoor evening gathering, where you can connect with friends, watch films and enjoy good beers. One hundred percent of proceeds from beer sales benefits your local nonprofit."
