Dine Out for a Cause at Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop, May 4 - May 13

This feature was produced in collaboration between Vox Creative and Google. Vox Media editorial staff was not involved in the creation or production of this content.

The unlikely story of Ivan Orkin — the Jewish kid from Long Island who made it big in the Tokyo ramen scene — is food lore legend. In 2013, the legend came back home. Ivan Ramen is the perfect spot for slurping noodles and drinking a cold beer.

In partnership with Hannah Hart — host of the wildly popular YouTube show My Drunk Kitchen — and Share Our Strength — whose No Kid Hungry initiatives she passionately supports — we teamed up with Ivan Ramen to offer a special prix-fixe menu that includes a stellar app of young bok choy with charred scallion ponzu, a special miso butter mazeman, and a beverage. The whole shebang is $22, a portion of which will be donated to No Kid Hungry on behalf of Hannah.

Check out the full menu below, and be sure to stop in between May 4 - May 13 to catch the special.
