Parallax looping videos and Cinemagraphs are a great potential offering to our clients while keeping cost and time at a minimum. These are both dynamic and exciting ways to showcase still imagery typically provided by client, but taking them to the next level. The time for post production and animation depends on how complicated each image’s content is. Generally 1-2 days to complete and perfect one image or even shorter than that is a safe assessment. There are various approaches to all the offerings listed below. One overall approach is to be very subtle with the movement or added elements so when we catch the viewers eye they realize it’s a moving image. In other cases the animation can be more apparent such as an animating infographic or a parallax looping video.

1

Custom Cinemagraph

This would be our top level offering which would involve actual production and shooting to create our custom cinemagraphs much like the Aloe Blacc campaign. The creative ideas are limitless and we could isolate and loop anything we would want to really bring it to life.

2

Client Cinemagraph

This offering would be very cost and time effective. We would rely on assets provided by the client and determine the best creative to bring their imagery to life. This offering is more about picking apart or adding an element to the image and subtly bring it to life. For example: Adding a sun flare that brightens over time or animating moving clouds in a landscape portrait.

3

Infographic Cinemagraph

Here we would work with the design team to take what they’ve created for infographics and bring elements of that design to life. For example: The title of the infographic would animate on and off in a dynamic way to catch the viewers eyes instantly.

Parallax Video

This style involves a bit more apparent motion, where we pick a part the imagery and separate the foreground, background and elements in Z space to create a 3D image. For example: We separate our subject standing in front of his desk so it appears three dimensional as we push in and out in a looping motion over time.
