1. Tahoe South

2. Visit Napa Valley
Napa Valley Restaurant Week, from Saturday, January 24, to Saturday, January 31, 2016, allows locals and visitors to dine and delight throughout the valley and experience the area's legendary food and wine culture. Thanks to multi-course prix-fixe menus for lunch ($20) and dinner ($36 or $46), you can try out the latest farm-to-table hot spots, revisit old favorite restaurants, and treat yourself at Michelin-rated restaurants all week long.
3. Visit Oakland
More than 100 Oakland Restaurants will take part in Oakland Restaurant Week, presented by Visit Oakland and American Express, from Thursday, January 14, to Sunday, January 24, 2016. Now in its sixth year, the popular program runs over two weekends for residents to take full advantage of dining deals. Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe lunch and/or dinner menus at $20, $30, $40, and the new $50 price points. 5. Downtown Sacramento
Just named the Next Great American Food City by Southwest Magazine, Sacramento is quickly becoming an leader in the fine-dining scene. Dine Downtown 2016 returns from Thursday, January 7, to Saturday, January 16, 2016, to highlight the best fare in this "Farm to Fork" capital. For $35, enjoy three-courses at favorites such as Ella Dining Room & Bar and The Firehouse. $1 from each Dine Downtown meal will go to support the Food Literacy Center.
6. Visit Stockton
During the seventh annual Stockton Restaurant Week, from Friday, January 15, to Sunday, January 24, 2016, participating restaurants will offer special prix-fixe meals that will showcase some of the region’s most talented chefs and the culinary diversity of Stockton. The three-course dinner menus will be priced at $15, $20, or $25 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax, and gratuity, unless otherwise noted. Some restaurants will be offering $10 two-course lunch menus as well.
7. Visit Berkeley
Berkeley is a culinary wonderland, with top chefs and restaurants that continue to set the bar for local, sustainable, farm-to-fork dining. With more than 350 restaurants citywide, there’s a wide range of dining options ranging from casual to candlelit. Berkeley Restaurant Week takes place Thursday, January 21, to Sunday, January 31, 2016, with many of its renowned restaurants participating.
8. Humboldt Bay
Need more of a reason to stop by the Humboldt Bay Tourism Center? With any social media checkin at the center, you'll receive a free oyster plus a pint of beer in the all-local tasting room.
9. Suisun City Historic Waterfront
Experience the diverse fine-dining scene on the Suisun Waterfront during the Suisan Waterfront Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will offer a prix-fixe menu with three-course meals for dinner or a two-course meal for breakfast or lunch (with some exclusions). dineL.A. Restaurant Week is back and will take place Monday, January 18, to Sunday, January 31, 2016. This biannual 14-day dining event showcases Los Angeles as a premier dining destination where participating restaurants offer specially priced lunch and dinner menus. dineL.A. will also feature a new tier of experiential menus from the city’s top chefs via the Exclusive Series presented by Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express. For this winter edition of Restaurant Week, dineL.A. is partnering with OpenTable to donate $1 of every seated reservation that’s booked through discoverLosAngeles.com to The Midnight Mission, a vital nonprofit organization that provides food, shelter and essential aid to those experiencing homelessness throughout the city.
11. San Diego
More than 180 of San Diego’s finest restaurants participate in this annual showcase of local cuisine. For one week only, visitors can dine on locally inspired dishes from some of the city's most creative chefs. Feast on a three-course, prix-fixe menu for just $20, $30, $40, or $50 per person or a two-course, prix-fixe lunch for only $10, $15, or $20 per person.
12. Visit San Luis Obispo County
Indulge in San Luis Obispo County Restaurant Month, starting January 4, 2016. Participating restaurants will offer special prix-fixe menus of three courses, ranging from $30 to $40 per person. Restaurant Month will also be celebrated at local Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wineries with various "Go Local Wine Deals."
13. Visit the Santa Ynez Valley
Back for its sixth year, the 2016 Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week combines local bounty, top chefs, and affordable prices for a weeklong homage to the Valley's food scene. More than 20 restaurants throughout the Valley — from the region’s up-and-coming establishments to long-time favorites — will offer special three-course tasting menus, all for the modest price of $20.16 (excluding tax, tip and beverages).
14. Yosemite/Mariposa County
The Ahwahnee, a National Historic Landmark hotel located in the heart of Yosemite Valley, will host the 31st Annual Chefs' Holidays event series in January. This series allows park visitors to enjoy a winter getaway at Yosemite National Park combined with a gourmet food and wine event. Each Chefs' Holidays session includes a “Meet the Chefs” reception, three cooking demonstrations and tastings in the hotel's Great Lounge moderated by culinary experts, a behind-the-scenes tour of The Ahwahnee’s 8,000 square-foot kitchen, and a gala dinner prepared by the session’s headliner chefs. Yosemite National Park's Chefs’ Holidays event will be held over a series of eight sessions beginning January 10, 2016.
15. Dine Newport Beach
Celebrating 10 years of good taste in 2016, Newport Beach Restaurant Week is Orange County’s longest running Restaurant Week event. The 14-day dining event takes place from Monday, January 18, to Sunday, January 31, and showcases Newport Beach as Orange County’s premier dining destination. Participating restaurants offer special prix-fixe menus with lunches available for just $10, $15, $20, or $25, and dinners for $20, $30, $40 or $50.
16. Golden Gate Restaurant Association
SF Restaurant Week is the perfect excuse to visit an old favorite, discover someplace new, and support San Francisco's world-class dining community. More than 100 restaurants citywide will offer specially priced, multi-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus from $15 or $25 for lunch, or $40 or $65 for dinner. SF Restaurant Week raises money for local community organizations; this year's official charity partner is the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee's legacy fund, the 50 Fund.
17. Santa Monica

23. Visit Tri-Valley
In celebration of California Restaurant Month, a wealthy and mysterious Tri-Valley foodie has cooked up the most intriguing of online treasure hunts. Every Friday and Saturday during the month of January, a roving Secret Sommelier just may pick up the tab when you dine out at a local restaurant with Livermore Valley wine on the menu.
24. Redondo Beach
Redondo Beach Restaurant Week will take place Monday, January 11, to Sunday, January 17, 2016. Redondo Beach Restaurant Week will showcase Redondo Beach as a diverse dining destination where participating restaurants will offer specially priced prix-fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner, or VIP cards you can download for special discounts.
25. Visit Temecula Valley
Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country joins in the California Restaurant Month fun, with prix-fixe menu items and local farm-fresh ingredients at restaurants in Old Town Temecula, Temecula Valley Wine Country, Pechanga Resort & Casino, and throughout the destination. Select restaurants will have special events, workshops and activities during the month of January, which will end with a Winter Barrel Tasting on January 31, 2016.
