Goose Island is traveling across the country to share the brewery love during Migration Week. The White Horse
White Horse is known for being a can't-miss spot, and it definitely lives up to the hype. Cheap drinks, live music, and dancing every night at this honky tonk make it hard to pass up.
Tacodeli
Tacos aren't hard to find in Austin, but Tacodeli has some of the best. We loved the queso and couldn't stop eating the insanely spicy salsa verde, even though it hurt a little.
The Sidewinder
We knew we had to catch a show while in Austin, so we went to Sidewinder. It has two stages (with one located outdoors), making it a lovely setting for live music.
Easy Tiger
Easy Tiger uses fresh and local ingredients to offer bread that's baked in-house and extensive options for lunch and dinner. We walked away still thinking about their delicious, house-made Chex Mix.
Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden
Pick anything from Banger's menu of delicious and interesting sausages and beers, then head to the picnic tables that are located in their large, outdoor space. We could definitely see ourselves spending entire afternoons in that yard.
Nubian Queen Lola Cajun
There's nothing else like Queen Lola's, a hidden gem that serves up authentic, New Orleans-style home cooking inside an old house on the east side of town.
Jester King Brewery
Open fermentation and koelschips make our hearts skip a beat. Jester King is one of the finest breweries in the country — we loved every beer consumed and every minute spent at their facility.
