You won’t be surprised by the excellent seafood selection at this oyster bar, but you may be surprised by the salads. We stopped by for lunch and found lots of excellent choices, like a lobster wedge and a tuna nicoise salad.

Fun beers and an even more fun staff. One of our favorites was the Grambler Ale, but we definitely drank our way through a revolving 10-tap beer list.

“The original alehouse” of Omaha and the birthplace of the Reuben sandwich? It was heaven — and the Migration Week team’s favorite sandwich of the week. It did not disappoint. Crescent Moon advertises its Blackstone Reuben sandwich with secret ingredients, said to have been created at the famous Blackstone Hotel just a few steps away. And you won’t be disappointed by the huge craft beer list and the Alehouse Chicken.

It’s the largest craft brewery in Nebraska (no surprise by that name), so we were lucky enough to get a tour of the space. The great staff introduced us to the “360 pop tabs” on their new cans, so naturally we tried a few Ale Storm and Cardinal pale ale cans.

This bar had the most unbelievable beet chips to pair with our beers and burgers, that were so unexpected and delicious — it’s hard to believe those beets at one point could have been good for you.

The menu was huge, but the Husker Roll, an asparagus and beef tenderloin roll, really stole the show here.

It’s the perfect small music venue. We caught an awesome show with Har Mar Superstar that had the team dancing and making great use of a tambourine — need we say more?

To get our dose of culture in, we had to get in a trip to the zoo to see the gorillas and lions.

History is important, and we all wanted to stop by this monument in honor of our favorite computer game. No one fell victim to dysentery during our visit.
