Don’t let the simple food fool you, though — for the grown-ups, there’s a whole roster of distinctive cocktails, like the Watermelonade, made with Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil, elderflower liqueur, lime, watermelon, and mint simple syrup for just a touch of sweetness.

The lively, bustling CraftWay Kitchen might not be as trendy as some other Dallas hotspots, but we like it like that. This friendly, locals-only joint has an open kitchen, a bubbly, helpful staff, and a relaxed atmosphere, with unique touches like local art showcased on the walls. The wide-ranging menu has something for everyone but is all based on the premise that high-quality ingredients translate to high-quality food. For simplicity at its best, try the CW charcuterie platter, a generous helping of seasonally-selected cheeses, cured meats, pickled vegetables, fig jam, and an umami-loaded parmesan lavash cracker. The cocktails are classic, but rely on top-shelf, premium liquors and mixers. For instance, try the Frozen Mule, which uses Grey Goose vodka, fresh lime, and a kicky ginger beer.

If you hail from the northeast, you’ve probably missed great pizza — unless you’ve been to Kenny’s. It also has a full menu of red-sauce favorites like lasagna, chicken parm, and spaghetti and meatballs, just like your nonna used to make. End your filling meal in the authentic Italian fashion with an espresso, but not just any espresso. Try one of Kenny’s espresso martinis, made with Grey Goose (served at a frigid 28 degrees from the restaurant’s tap), coffee liqueur, and vanilla bean-infused cold brew.

Tucked away above Bistro 31, its Italian sibling, Lounge 31 has a menu consisting primarily of sushi and Japanese-inspired fare, as well as a star-studded roster of simple but skillfully made cocktails. Start your evening with the Chanel 31 —both a play on the restaurant’s name and the address of the iconic fashion house — and instantly be transported to the Mediterranean thanks to the drink’s main ingredient, Grey Goose Essences White Peach & Rosemary. The refreshing drink pairs perfectly with the bar’s eponymous sushi roll, made with tempura bacon (this is Texas, after all), crab, avocado, tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, topped with lemon zest, masago, and scallion.

A perennial favorite, Toulouse offers undeniable French flair, transporting diners to its namesake French city from the moment they sit in the red woven rattan chairs. You’ll find favorites like steak frites and escargot and mussels provençale with a certain je ne sais quoi that can’t be found elsewhere in Dallas. The craft and attention to detail carry over to the cocktail menu, where simple favorites like a refreshing martini are elevated thanks to Grey Goose La Poire (pear) vodka, gin, lemon, and simple syrup.

The ultra-chic Virgin Hotel is home to Commons Club, a swanky lounge-meets-supper club, with a marble-topped bar that quickly became one of Dallas’s best spots to see and be seen when it opened in 2019. Snag a red leather barstool for yourself and try the Watermelon Sugar, a blend of Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil, melon liqueur, absinthe, watermelon, simple syrup, and lemon. Like a fine wine, the well-established Dragonfly gets better every year, now offering a creative poolside menu that’s not only loaded with fun, snackable fare (crispy jalapeno calamari, anyone?), but sippable cocktails that are perfect for a day spent in the sun. We’re partial to the Yuzu Cooler — paired with Fever Tree’s sparkling lime and yuzu soda, the drink contains Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass vodka, elderflower liqueur, and fresh strawberries. And if you’re feeling generous, bring your friends — you can order any of the drinks on Dragonfly’s poolside menu in a pitcher.

Settle into Dallas’s most extensive garden patio at Saint Ann. Located in the trendy Harwood District downtown, the stunning tree-fringed deck is the perfect brunch destination to take a big, deep breath after a long week. The New American menu is the product of young executive chef Taylor Kearney, a rising star who’s worked with culinary luminaries like Charlie Palmer, Thomas Keller, and Anne-Sophie Pic. It focuses on ingredients from local purveyors within a 50-mile radius of the restaurant with some Pacific Northwest influences. Even the restaurant’s most simple dishes, like the spring chicken with carrots, sweet onions, spaetzle, fava beans, and turnips focus on high-quality ingredients. As evidenced in the Berry Smash and Spring Fling, drinks are equally thoughtful and made with premium spirits, like Grey Goose.

Whiskey Garden is more than just an homage to the brown stuff. The hopping pool-bar is perhaps best known as a rowdy party spot where you can enjoy your favorite drink with a dip in the bar’s centerpiece, a saltwater pool. Still, there’s some sophisticated stuff happening here, too, that doesn’t involve the namesake booze.
