When fall comes to South Florida, you probably won’t feel a nip in the air. But that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate with some festive cocktails that taste like this season of change. These delicious drinks might not bring back memories of hayrides and apple picking (South Florida has a decidedly less-cozy vibe this time of year), but at least you can enjoy them underneath the palm trees with a view of the water.

In Miami and Fort Lauderdale, many bars and restaurants are currently offering to-go cocktails for pickup and delivery so you can safely imbibe while still supporting your local spots. Try one with citrus and Grand Marnier as a reminder that just because it’s fall, that doesn’t mean that summer fun has to stop.

Read on for 9 of our favorite spots for fall cocktails in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

A number of South Florida restaurants have opened up for in-person dining with some capacity restrictions, mandatory masks, and social distancing. However, this should not be taken as an endorsement for in-person dining, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases in your area, please visit floridahealthcovid19.gov. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
