At ChefSteps, we know we’re lucky. Every day we get to work in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Founded in 1907, this lively historical landmark is wonderful and weird in all the right ways, and it’s full of incredible food. But we’re really picky when it comes to the stuff we eat and cook with, so we keep a carefully honed list of top spots that always treat their customers right. Our kitchen team recently put together a dinner-party menu for the Method Home Tour, for instance, and we knew just where to go to source the ingredients we need for recipe development—oysters, champagne vinegar, salmon, fresh fruit, chocolate, and more.
Here are the food stands, restaurants, shops, and takeaway spots we’re loving right now. So go forth, and get eating. Just remember: It’s not “Pike’s” Place Market. It’s Pike Place. And it’s pretty dang amazing.
