Alaska has it all. Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, and tons of fresh seafood — so much seafood that Humpy’s Alehouse in Anchorage, Alaska, created an entire food challenge around it. The Kodiak Arrest challenge at Humpy’s challenges brave diners to finish a platter of seven crab nuggets, 14 inches of reindeer sausage, three pounds of Alaskan king crab, mashed potatoes, a vegetable medley, and their famous berry crisp à la mode. The rules: Diners have to finish all of the food in 60 minutes or less, without leaving the table. The skilled few who complete the challenge are inducted into the Humpy’s hall of fame and receive an “I got crabs at Humpy’s” T-shirt. And if you beat the record time of 12 minutes and 10 seconds, the $179.99 platter comes free.

One of the most recent competitors at Humpy’s was Ethan Teske, a competitive eater who has completed over 200 food challenges in 25 different states around the country. Thanks to his cross-country travels in search of tons of food, Teske earned a free night’s stay with Hotels.com. Teske used his free night to head to Anchorage and attempt the Kodiak Arrest. So, did Teske conquer the massive seafood platter, or did it conquer him? Watch the video to find out.
